5K Run/Walk – 8:00 a.m.
10K Run – 9 a.m.
1.5 Mile Walk – 9:05 a.m.

**You will be able to pick up another participant’s bib, however you will need to sign that you have received all items and are responsible for getting the items to the participant.  If any items are lost or stolen, Mission City VeteRun will not be able to replace them unless a new race registration is paid for at the full price.

*Everyone picking up their packet from Sports Basement will receive a special 20% discount in the store!


There will be race day packet pickup beginning at 7am. 



Changes can only be made in person at Packet Pick Up.  We do not accept any changes via email.

Downgrades – You can downgrade to any distance. There will NOT be any refunds.
Upgrades – You will need to pick up your current bib, go the the Solutions/Problems line and pay the upgrade fee. Upgrades will be available on a first-come first-served basis.


The course for all distances will start in front of Levi’s Stadium at the Faithful Mile and run along the San Tomas Aquino/Saratoga Creek trail. The 10K continues into a loop within Baylands Park. The 1.5 Mile walk is along the San Tomas Aquino/Saratoga Creek trail. All distances will finish with a loop through the lower concourse of Levi’s Stadium (NOTE: All participants will enter the stadium from the South Entrance and will proceed up the ramp onto the lower concourse. Upon completing the loop and exiting the north side of the stadium the primary route takes you down stairs. There is NO ramp on the north side of the stadium, an elevator will be available if needed. All courses/finish line will close at 11am.

The 1.5 Mile Walk is entirely on trail/paved surface

The 5K is entirely on trail/paved surface

The 10K is partially on trail/paved surface and partially on dirt trail


The course for all distances finishes with a loop through the lower concourse of the stadium.  ALL Strollers and Wheelchairs will be subject to search per Levi’s Stadium rules. Additionally, anyone with any type of bag running into the stadium will be subject to inspection as well. If you’re running this race for time, please keep this in mind and leave personal belongings in the car.

Spectators will NOT be allowed to enter the stadium.

Everyone that completes the VeteRun Challenge can add to their bling collection and receive a special VeteRun Challenge Finishers dog tag. The 5K and 10K will be run as separate races with the 5K starting at 8am and the 10K starting at 9am (or after the final 5K finishes).

**Please note that the maps on mapmyrun.com are not the final markings for the course. The maps have been posted for your reference to aid stations, approximate mile markings and overall course direction.


Chip timing will be provided.   Your timing chip will be attached to the back of your bib.   Please do not remove it as your time will not be recorded. Note: There will be no chip timing for the 1.5 Mile walk.


1 Aid Station will be provided on the course, and at the start and finish area. Please view the course map for location of the water stop which will be serving water.


Parking will be available at the Santa Clara Convention Center


Medical Aid will be available at the Start/Finish area. The Aid Station on the course will be supplied with a First Aid Kit.  Should medical assistance be needed along the course, volunteers will be able to contact the Race Officials to obtain medical aid.


We like all animals, however due to safety regulations, there are no animals allowed on the course.


We love your kids, however due to safety regulations, we strongly discourage the use of strollers on the course. The trail will be used in both directions, as well as open to the general public. If you must bring your child along, please make sure to stay in the back, regardless of your pace to insure the safety of all participants. ALL Strollers will be stopped and checked when entering the stadium.


We love music, and do not ban MP3 Players and iPod such items, however, if you do chose to use these, please make sure the volume is at a level where you can hear your surroundings.  It is your responsibility to be aware of your surroundings on the course.


Please be sure to check the weather leading up to race day. Be prepared for warm or cold weather. There will not be a gear check area. Parking is within walking distance to the Start/Finish area.  Please plan accordingly.
