**You will be able to pick up another participant’s bib, however you will need to sign that you have received all items and are responsible for getting the items to the participant. If any items are lost or stolen, Race to the End of Summer will not be able to replace them unless a new race registration is paid for at the full price.
Changes can only be made in person at Packet Pick Up. We do not accept any changes via email.
Downgrades – You can downgrade to any distance. There will NOT be any refunds.
Upgrades – You will need to pick up your current bib, go the the Solutions/Problems line and pay the upgrade fee – CASH ONLY. Upgrades will be available on a first-come first-served basis.
The upgrade fees will be based on race weekend pricing.
Transfers – You will be able to transfer your registration to another participant through the registration platform until registration closes on September 5, 2018. There will be a $15 transfer fee.
The course for the 5K, 10K and Half Marathon are along the Coyote Creek Trail, and have been sanctioned by USA Track and Field. The course is flat and suitable for runners and walkers of any level. The courses will close on the following schedule: Half Marathon – 11:00 a.m., 10K – 10:00 a.m., and the 5K – 9:30 a.m. If you are still on the course after these times, we ask that you go on to the side walk and obey all traffic laws.
**Please note that the maps on mapmyrun.com are not the final markings for the course. The maps have been posted for your reference to aid stations, approximate mile markings and overall course direction.
Chip timing will be provided. Your timing chip will be attached to the back of your bib. Please do not remove it as your time will not be recorded.
Aid Stations will be provided on the course, and at the start and finish area. Please view the course map for location of water stops for each distance, which will be serving water and sports drinks. Gels will be available on the course to the Half Marathon participants.
Free parking will be available at Snap on Tools (5500 Hellyer Ave) and Nextest (5325 Hellyer Ave – use Celestica/IBM entrance). Please park in designated areas only and NO parking at the Silver Creek Sportsplex. Volunteers will be on hand to direct cars to all parking lots. Parking will be limited. We recommend carpooling, public transportation, riding a bike, getting dropped off or using other forms of transportation.
Medical Aid will be available at the Start/Finish area. Each Aid Station on the course is supplied with a First Aid Kit. Should medical assistance be needed along the course, volunteers will be able to contact the Race Officials to obtain medical aid.
We like all animals, however due to safety regulations, there are no animals allowed on the course.
We love your kids, however due to safety regulations, we strongly discourage the use of strollers on the course. The trail will be used in both directions, as well as open to the general public. If you must bring your child along, please make sure to stay in the back, regardless of your pace to insure the safety of all participants.
We love music, and do not ban MP3 Players and iPod such items, however, if you do chose to use these, please make sure the volume is at a level where you can hear your surroundings. It is your responsibility to be aware of your surroundings on the course.
WEATHER/CLOTHING – NO GEAR CHECK
Please be sure to check the weather leading up to race day. Be prepared for warm or cold weather. There will not be a gear check area. Parking is within walking distance to the Start/Finish area. Please plan accordingly.
